A Month Has Passed
The puppies are one month old today. They are no longer tiny little guinea pigs they used to resemle, but real dogs. They run (at least try), fight, grow and lead a normal, happy puppylife. Penni still takes good care of them, although she doesn't endlessly appreciate her new way of life as a milkbar. She starts to be quite certain the puppies are ready to be weaned. Poor Penni, she still has to endure another month.
All the puppies have a new owner by now. At least one of them is going to do some agility when she grows up a little bit. I wish she has got the genes of her mother for that sport. Penni is really enjoyable to work with, she's always so eager to do anything.
I'm really looking forward and hoping for a time these puppies hit the show rings and other areas of performance. I would be so proud to read of them in the Shelties-magazine!
